Following these steps ensures a safe, comfortable experience and helps you achieve the best possible results.

  • Medical Conditions: Inform us if you take prescription blood thinners or have a history of cold sores.
  • Alcohol: Avoid for 24 hours before your appointment as this can increase the risk of bleeding & bruising.
  • Hair Removal: Avoid waxing, bleaching, tweezing, or hair removal creams on treatment areas.
  • Sun Exposure: Avoid sunburn, as this is difficult to treat.
  • Skin Prep: Arrive with a clean face, be aware make-up will likely be removed by cleaning the treatment areas.
  • Health Updates: Share all medications, supplements, and recent health changes with your practitioner.
  • Hands Off: Avoid touching, rubbing, or massaging injection sites for 2–4 hours as this avoids the toxin moving into unwanted muscle groups.
  • Exercise & Sweat: Refrain from vigorous exercise or heavy sweating for 24hours after treatment.
  • Body Position: Avoid lying down or leaning forward for 2–4 hours.
  • Bruising & Bumps: Mild bruising or tiny bumps may appear but usually settle within a few days. Small marks often disappear within hours.
  • Facial Treatments: Avoid facials, microdermabrasion or massages for 14 days.
  • Blood Thinners: Avoid ibuprofen, aspirin or other blood-thinning medications unless medically prescribed as these can increase bruising.

To achieve the best possible results, please follow these preparation guidelines:

  • Stop active skincare products: Avoid retinoids, exfoliating acids, and other strong skincare 5–7 days before your session.

  • Protect your skin from the sun: Avoid tanning beds and direct sunlight for at least a week prior to your treatment.

To support optimal results and ensure proper healing, please follow these aftercare guidelines:

Protect your skin from the sun: Your skin may appear red and sensitive for up to 48 hours, similar to a mild sunburn. Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen daily and avoid direct sun exposure for at least two weeks.

Use gentle skincare: Apply a hydrating, soothing serum and avoid exfoliants, acids, and retinoids for at least one week.

Delay makeup: Allow your skin to heal for at least 24 hours before applying any makeup.

Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water to support skin regeneration and overall healing.

Avoid heat and intense activity: Refrain from hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and strenuous exercise for 48 hours to minimise irritation and inflammation.
